Issues with the Gender Gap Discussion

We discussed the confidence gap observed between genders of the STEM field and highlighted the sexual harassment endured by women in Silicon Valley. Though certainly not exclusive to the Valley, it brought up the bigger issue of how much discrimination was overlooked in a seemingly progressive industry. Later on in the presentation, we then methods to attack this issue from the roots, beginning with removing educational, gender and race oriented biases.
